The lantern head was easy to install. It looks great on our hammered matte cast iron post. I love the seeded glass that does not have to be cleaned. Also, it is wonderful to simply open the front glass door to change the bulbs. The ease of maintenance is a big plus. I highly recommend the Melene outdoor lights.

This is such a wonderful lantern! You can tell right away that this is a high quality product. Our old lanter was damaged by a fallen branch, and we have been searching for over one year for a new lantern, but we could never find what we wanted. Once we found Birch Lane, it made it so much easier to find what we were searching for! And a special bonus is that the customer service is excellent!
