Not bad, but a little cooler than I wanted. It doesn't have in the description how many lumens the light kit is, but we liked the style and this isn't the only light source in the room, so we tried it. It isn't that bright and wouldn't purchase again because we prefer a warmer tone. I'd guess it's a soft white, 3000k...but that's just a guess. We have some other fixtures in the home that are 5000k and they much more blue than this fan light.
