The fluidity of molten glass is used perfectly to describe a shower of giant hand-blown and silvered drops, raining from an unseen source. The playfulness of scale engages and delights as moving liquid is rendered permanent. The Raindrops are lit from above as well as within. A series of small lamps are placed amongst the light to reflect off the mirrored surfaces of each individually shaped droplet. Suspended dramatically over the water, mirrored Raindrops, each hand-blown borosilicate glass piece had to be carefully coordinated and meticulously strung to ensure the fluidity of the shape.
