The 16" Silk Coolie Empire Lamp Shade gets its name from traditional Asian conical hats, which have a wide bottom and narrow top. You'll find the Coolie style shades on large lamp bases to help create contrast and balance. Made of neutral-toned, tailored, silk-type shantung fabric with an off-white softback lining (black shades have gold softback lining) to create a warm, soft glow.
