Absolutely the wrong Lamp Shade. It’s oval and nothing mentions that in the description. It’s gotta go back.

This lampshade was quite nice, but it did arrive with a couple of "dings" in it. They were small ones. Not visible until I cut off all of the wrapping. Since they were not in the front, I decided not to worry about them and to keep the shade. These hard shell drum shades are difficult to transport and not get a "ding." I am not sure I would have gotten one home from a local store in perfect condition, either. The color I chose was Beige. Without the light on, the shade looks more of an ivory color. So if you need an actual beige, keep looking. It does look more beige with the light on, for some reason. The Shantung fabric is quite nice and smooth looking. It is a modern, attractive lamp shade.

This is a lovely high end lamp shade. It will elevate the look of any lamp. My father gave me a 1990's solid brass square lamp with a base. Not what you would find nowadays, and I loved the lines, but it needed updating and a simple but elegant wow lamp shade. This was it. It needed to be big as it was sitting on a lone table in a library in front of a large three pane floor to ceiling window. Don't over think it. This is what you need. Just check the measurements to make sure it works for you.

Very nice quality shade, but unfortunately the first one they sent got lost so I had to wait a long time to get one.
