A little disappointed on the color of the shade when it is night lit. Also you need a small bulb or decorative one, the bulb shows.

Beautiful, sturdy lamps. Only issue was the bright light bulbs causing blindness when walking up to lamps. I read a review that said they were looking for shorter bulbs, that isn't the answer but I found some 1/2 covered chrome or gold bulbs by Bulbrite that fixed the problem and cause the light to reflect downards and through the shade. Found mine on amazon but they're available elsewhere. Bulbrite 60A19HG 60-Watt A19 Bulb, Half Gold, Medium Base. Available incandescent or LED, answer to the problem.

For the price, this is a very nice lamp whose purpose for me is to serve as an end-table lamp outside on a screened-in porch. I purchased the tallest table-lamp I could find; but, I still would have preferred it to have been even taller. I say this because I do not like that when one walks near it, one views the inside of the globe with the exposed bulb to see. If what I described is not an issue for you, this lamp should is attractive, is built solidly, and should serve you fine.

Like it a lot. Have to find a small light bulb that doesn't stick out of the top.
