Shades are sturdy and attractive. I got the mustard burlap, but it does not look like mustard, more of a dark beige with a hint of yellow. They give off a lovely, warm light. Shades are smaller than I expected, a bit smaller than the size of a gallon of milk, but that is my fault for not paying closer attention
