It is pretty but it is absolutely 100% not glass with leading -- it is some kind of polymer with a polymer faux "leading." So I feel like this item is overpriced for how it is advertised. Likewise, it arrived broken with only one of the sockets working so I need to order a replacement. :(

I searched and searched for this floor lamp. I had it in my cart and I was shocked when I went to order it as it was sold out! I was thankful that I was notified it was back in stock and immediately bought it! To my surprise, it was even better than I thought after my husband put it together which was easy and took a few minutes to do! This lamp is truly a gift of beauty! I Love it! It looks so perfect in our family room. It is very heavy and will not get knocked over by our pet, or when our very energetic grand-dog comes for a visit! It arrived quickly and very well packed in styrofoam. Thanks again Wayfair for carrying such a wide range of merchandise at good prices. You are my go to for home furnishings!
