I had mine professionally installed by an electrician. I love the dimmable independent uplight and downlight. This fan is so quiet and transitions smoothly. The wall remote that comes with the Skye controls all features including reverse. I love the dimmable uplights for watching television.

The instructions to install the fan are straightforward and easy to understand. The whole installation process took 35 minutes. The remote control allows us to vary the amount of light. You can dim it for watching television or brighten it for cleaning or reading a book. I would recommend this fan to anyone looking for an adjustable model that offers a stylish flair to your room.

I can't even begin to say how much i love the dual light feature - up top pointed at the ceiling for a dim, subtle light, and a regular LED pointed down for lighting the luminaries and entire room. First off, upgrading to LED lights was great, so much better lighting. The fan itself was pretty easy to install (as far as fans go) and looks great in the space. It seems to help the circulation in the room and even the house very easily and is much quieter.

When we purchased our home it still had the orginal fan installed from back in the 80's so you cam say it was very out dated and needed a newer classier model . Installation was easy and took about 30 minutes to do and another 10 minutes to attach the remote to the wall . It was all fairly easy with eady to read instructions included. The fan is beautiful and a nice feature it has is you can have it set to run the top part of the lights or the globe part . You can also run them both at the same time . My daughter liles to use the bottom lights when she is reading and the top part when shes watching tv or just playing . The remote is very easy to operate also . Nice classy stylish fan that we all love . The fan also included 4 led bulbs that are energy saving and run at 5 watts a piece .
