This lamp is of much higher quality than most. The base is heavy and with a metal extension on the base, it is not tipsy. It is easy to assemble but might be heavy for some to move. Indeed, Brightech needs to invest in better packaging. The outer box and inner box were undamaged, but the styrofoam inside was crumbled by the weight of the components inside. I needed this for stitch work, but find it does not rotate to a horizontal position over my project. As you can see from the picture I will have to look thru the lens and hold my stitch work up to the light. That is not ideal. Someone needs to add a rotating feature to this light to make it perfect for crafters. Otherwise I am impressed by this light and hope it continues to work!

Very happy with this lamp. Love the way it swings wherever I need it, the magnification has a clear, wide field, and the light is clear and bright and shines on my work, not in my eyes. Absolutely perfect!

This is a "sight" saver! I could not believe the difference that it makes in using beads that are smaller than a pinhead! It is easily adjusted, the different amounts of light available and the size magnifying area is excellent. I bought the floor model that can also be used as a desk light if I change work stations. A must have for all the "tiny" precise hobbies that require great light and magnification! Highly recommend!!

I purchased this to help me with jewelry-making and crocheting. I love it. I have it on my desk and now I don't get as many headaches by forcing my eyes to see the small crochet hook and thread.

This light is fabulous. Iis so much brighter than my other lamps and the magnification is divine. I can see everything.

The light wont work for my husband. The viewing area is too small for those with vision deficit.

I am so glad someone recommended this light. It is worth every penny! I use it for beading. Don’t know how I beaded without it all this time.

I have macular degeneration so the bright light really helps for reading. Now I can read an entire page of a book especially my sewing manual. So nice.

This new lighting/magnifying system has helped to improve my skills at bead weaving with small beads. My projects look professionally done without making errors along the way. I highly recommend this lighting system for those of us who are challenged with eye seeing issues. The lights came packaged well, on time and easy to set up. For me the best feature is the light. It really helps to bring things into focus and illuminates shadows. It is well built!
