We purchased two of these when we remodeled our bathroom. They look great over oval mirrors and throw plenty of light with the lights pointing downward. We often dim the lights for effect. The transitional style is not too modern for our coastal themed bath but could also go with a more traditional look. The only small issue I have is that the shades are a bit taller than I expected, but when hung they look fine and not as big as I anticipated.

Globes are bigger than I thought for the space they are in. Nice fixture and finish, not cheap looking. I just wish I would have looked closer on the measurements.
