This was the wrong size, but the item is good.

This adapter fit perfectly on my 3” post. The 3” measurement was from the outside edges of the post. Used it with the classy cap SLO82W 2.5” x 2.5”.

Works with sku CLCA1014 lights. Very impressed with quality of adaptors.
