Look so elegant. Easy to install.

I like this much better than my last fixture, but hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes. After paying almost 300 for an electrician to install this for me, I learned some important lessons 1) most older dimmer switches can’t handle the new LED bulbs so you’ll have a really hard time finding bulbs that don’t flicker if you don’t replace the dimmer at the same time, and 2) watch out for any chandelier on 9” ceilings with 100 clear bulbs and shades, because although these type pendant cluster chandeliers look pretty on Pinterest and Instagram, it is almost blinding to walk in a room with those!! So in hindsight, I wish I had paid a little more for a fixture with seeded glass or tinted glass. Anyway, when I bought this I pictured myself pairing it with the beautiful Edison style antique looking bulbs, and those are indeed beautiful, but I quickly discovered that it was horribly blinding using them in a light fixture that low. My electrician shortened the pendants to about this length and when he was done I thought it would look weird if I went any shorter, so the bulbs are right above eye level. I experimented with 5 different types and brands of bulbs and they ALL flickered when on dimmer. I even debated frosting the shades myself with glass spray paint until I eventually found a nice frosted G25 globe style bulb I liked that was LED but also didn’t start flickering with my older dimmer. All in all I’m happy with my purchase but I learned some things to consider the next time I choose a fixture. flickering with my older dimmer.

This light cluster is replacing a chandelier in the main stairway. Each pendant can be individually adjusted to the desired length. I found it best to do this step before mounting the fixture to the ceiling. The shades are glass so care must be taken when installing. The mounting process is less than convenient when installed on on a tall sloped ceiling. Three hands are needed to mount this fixture. Light bulbs were not included. That was okay for us because we wanted a specific LED bulb type. Overall, this is a great light for us. This is exactly what we were looking for.
