An elegant shade. I don't recall if it is silk, but it feels/looks like silk. Nice diffuse light.

Unfortunately the spider wiring on the top does not have the little notches to keep the shade centered on the lamp. Bummer. Wayfair should do a better job of showing customers an object from all angles. Will have to return.
