These sconces are made of plastic. The brass pieces are plastic; the crystal pieces are plastic. I can't imagine that the plastic pieces will stand up to heat.

Very Happy with these Scones. I called and placed my order with Wayfair Customer Service directly and they were Great in helping me with measurements and helping me decide. They have the all Bling I was looking for in my small Bathroom along with the Venetian Mirror I also ordered from Wayfair. They came nicely packaged and protected. Easy to assemble and install. I personally chose to assemble the prisms in a little different pattern from what the instructions said tho.One Happy Happy Customer with a Beautiful Bling Bathroom. I would definitely order from Wayfair again !
