I had purchased this lamp because another that I had wanted and ordered was not going to be unavailable indefinitely. At the time of purchase I felt perhaps I was settling for less than the one I originally wanted, but I was so so wrong! I am thrilled with this lamp and it exceeds any expectations I had. It goes beautifully with my guest bedroom which I am trying to create a vintage look for and this lamp put the cherry on top! It has so many different colors on the shade and I am able to turn it to the colors I want to stand out more and the light that it exudes is perfect with the hi, lo and in between dimmers. There is nothing bad I can say about it, in fact, aside from the beauty of the lamp itself, I have seen so many similar version for way more than I paid and that is an extra plus! Don't hesitate to buy it, you will not regret it... .
