Beautiful! Just the right height. Very well made with a marble base. Lots of nice comments from friends.

I like this floor lamp. I have a 100w LED daylight bulb installed and it gives off a very soft pleasant light. I like the fact that the globe is glass and the base is solid and heavy. It was easy to put together. The reason for 4 stars, is that the metal the pole is made out of seems thin and of lesser quality than the base and globe which was surprising. I felt like if I tightened the connections too much, I would strip the threads; however, I really needed to tighten it as much as I could so that it wouldn't wobble and would be straight. I very gingerly and slowly applied as much pressure as I could to get it tight and straight. Luckily, it's only going in the corner of my office and won't be moved around a lot. I would be afraid it would come apart if it did. Overall, I am satisfied and if I decided I wanted more light in my office would probably purchase again.

Needed an uplight for a dark corner of the living room. I love the retro yet modern shape. Has a nice heavy base and the globe is glass. Easy to assemble and set up. A pull chain may have looked more elegant than the switch on the neck, or a foot switch would have kept the design sleek.

Great for corner of room or near a desk, couch etc...where it can be used often but left out of large traffic areas. It is slightly wobbly when you turn it on bc the shade is all frosted glass and the base is a white marble square with light grey veining and the entire neck of the lamp is a thin brassy metal pole. It looks beautiful. The quality is lovely, though it wouldn't like do well mid-room, or in a place where dogs or children or a door were always brushing by it.
