It is very heavy, and takes two people to put up. It has two light settings to control the brightness. There are different light bulbs you can use in this lamp, so make sure you pick your preference. I’m thinking about getting another one, but smaller, because it adds great ambiance to my living room.

It feels substantial, well made, and far more solid than expected. Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, it immediately transformed the artwork beneath it. This picture light has done a wonderful job showcasing a pencil and oil pastel drawing. The added illumination makes the colors, shading, and fine details much easier to appreciate. The design itself is attractive and feels thoughtfully made. It settles into that range where the quality is noticeable as soon as it is handled. One thing that could be improved is the placement of the power switch. It is located relatively close to the lamp itself rather than farther down the cord near the plug, which would have been more convenient. Overall, this is a beautiful, solidly constructed picture light that does exactly what it is meant to do while adding a polished finishing touch to the display.

It is extremely easy to turn it on and off and was even easier to install! The varnish on the picture light absolutely blew me away with how sleek and durable it was. I can clean it without worrying about it coming off and I know it was last me years to come!
