I would give it 5 stars if only masonry/concrete screws were included. I did go to the local hardware store, purchased Tapcon 1-3/4 in. L Star Flat Head Concrete Screws, 8pk. and 5/32 in. x 4 in. x 6 in. SHOCKWAVE Carbide Hammer Drill Bit for Concrete, Stone, Masonry Drilling. I was able to use this drill bit with a regular drill. It just took a little longer. I will have to dab a little black paint on the top of the blue screws to match the color. Additionally, I drilled holes in the sides to install the lantern light and used extra light switchplate screws I had on hand to mount the lantern light to the base. Again, I will have to touch up the screws with a little black paint to match the color.

Cant wait until the day this gets installed! Item came promptly and well packaged. The finish is smooth and unblemished. It is one of the heavier pier mounts offered on this site. I was ordering outdoors wall lights and trying to figure out how to have light on the far corner of my deck without having a very long pole installed. That is when this mount popped up on my browser. It is perfect for those putting in the beautiful stone piers in their yard or for my corner light for my raised deck. I just cant wait for the day it can be installed.

Using to mount pole lamps on deck. Check your measurements, because the pole I purchased did not fit.
