The perfect reading lamp. Well constructed with a very heavy base and the foot switch is convenient. The shade is (happily) much larger than the photos make it appear, so it has some real presence and it directs the right amount of light where it is needed. Be very careful with the sizes of lamps/lighting fixtures you order from Wayfair as they photoshop them onto backgrounds and they are almost never appropriately scaled. Always check the specs.
