Larrison Metal Desk Lamp

I had high hopes for this lamp because I really like the design, but I was very disappointed in the quality. The first lamp that I received had a dark discoloration in the spherical glass shade, which looked especially bad when the light was switched on. I requested a replacement, which came promptly but had similar issues - this time the glass shade had a strange green discoloration. Both lamps also had some unattractive dark spots on the brass-colored body. Finally, the metal prongs that hold the shade in place from the inside are clearly visible through the glass when the light is on, which doesn't look great. I'm going to have to send them both back and try something else.

Love the shape so much, but the globe on the fixture is a strange hue. It almost has a green cast to it, so when turned on, it makes the room a weird green / yellow. Also, the globe doesn't stay on all the way and is constantly slipping down and needs to be fixed.

It’s very elegant. Slightly difficult to put together (the big globe gets held into place with springs) but, very beautiful
