OMG this lamp looks nothing like the picture. I was excitingly waiting and then when I got it, the blue is dark, the silver/gold is more like really gold tones, it looks so cheap it is going back!!

We purchased this lamp base and combined it with a drum shade from Wayfair to make a nice side-table lamp in our beach house. The lamp has a cool, rustic distressed wood finish that matches nicely with our room decor. The base has a durable wood construction that should hold up well over time. The photo appears to shows the lamp base finished with silver distressed accent colors; however, when we received the base, the finished accept color is closer to a gold than a silver. Still very nice. Pros: Great distressed finish and solid construction Cons: The on/off switch is located on the cord, not on the lamp base.
