Too short for me - looks taller in the photo. Chrome material doesn't appear to be metal.

This lamp is perhaps smaller than it feels in the listing (closer to 4’ vs 5’) but I liked how it has a fully functional profile where all of the legs are also lit, as opposed to the majority of similar designs where only the top & one or maybe a couple legs light—good design. It’s also got a cool twist to open mechanical set-up that is equally easy to fold up if that’s suitable in your usage case. I ended up with a different lamp in the end but for a tighter space this looks nice & is graceful.
