This lamp is really just a very expensive party light. Despite being listed as such at the time of purchase, it is NOT smart home compatible; it has no WiFi connectivity of any kind. The only way to operate the lamp is with the included remote control, which can turn it on and off and cycle through dozens of repetitive color effects, but that is all. The lamp also cannot produce standard white illumination, and therefore cannot be used as a regular lamp. About the only situation where this lamp would be convenient or useful is at a rave.
