48'' Ceiling Fan with Light Kit

We are in the process of changing my 10-year-old daughter's room from a kid's room to a pre-teen, and she chose this fan/light. I personally thought it was a little bland when I ordered it, but after having it installed - it is beautiful! I only gave it 4 stars bc the electrician was unable to hook it up to a wall switch/dimmer, and the plastic cover that covers the light bulbs has a small crack in it (which you can't see now that it is up, but I will call and have them replace that piece). My daughter was upset that she "had" to have a remote to control it - that part is the only part that we don't like (the electrician worked on it for HOURS!). The fan works best on medium for her room, you can barely feel the low, but the fact that the blades tuck away when not in use is priceless!

We absolutely love this fan. Not only is it stylish, but quiet and really moves the air around. We have 2 in the white and 3 in the dark Bronze color. Definitely would recommend!

Works great - quiet, very bright light. Love the look. We used the 12 inch extension rod. Quite a process to install it as there are several steps. Practice the process on the floor before you attempt it on a ladder. You will need helpers!

The fan is quiet and lighting is plenty. Really like the blades hiding when not in use. Not stated in the online specifications, and the technical support couldn't help, was that it is only able to fit on a pitched ceiling of 15 degrees (this was stated in the manual when we opened it up). Our ceiling is sloped 21 degrees, so I had to obtain a pitch adapter. A 21 degree pitch isn't that sloped, and surprised this unit could not slope enough. Because I was not able to use the ceiling mount and had to get a pitch/slope adapter the receiver wouldn't fit. So I had to "MacGyver" it to fit. A hassle to say the least. They should have made enough room for the receiver to fit in the base unit itself, or have the mounting be able to slope enough. We have fans already that have the receivers in the fan unit itself or fit easily in the ceiling mount. Not a good overall design. I've read other reviews that the instructions were difficult to follow. They seemed straight forward enough and I could follow without issue.

Excellent fan! This moves air well and is such a neat design. I have gotten so many compliments on it. I gave 4 stars because the light is a little too dim to be the only light in the room.

It’s perfect for our bedroom. Fan moves a lot of air quietly and the remote is a real plus.

We just installed this today and were so impressed! I was a little concerned it might look cheap given the competitive price, but its lovely. The fan on high circulates a lot of air, and we really love that the blades retract. It was hard to find something without the integrated LED (which we really didnt want) so I especially appreciate that. The only drawback is that the light doesnt dim, but Id still choose this again.

Love this fan & that the blades are retractable that you don't see them. The fan blows very powerful. It looks very stylish in my living room!
