Westinghouse Lighting Ceiling Fan And Light Remote Control With Backlit Display

I got this to replace the remote on the fan in our bedroom. I like this one for two main reasons 1) The remote has a holder for the wall so hopefully we can stop losing it, and 2) The remote takes regular AAA batteries so it'll be easier to replace them, unlike the one that came with the fan and took cell batteries that were a pain. Installation was easy enough; The hardest part was just getting the fan back up, but the kit itself was easy. I wish it was packaged a little better, but that isn't a dealbreaker.

This was a nice addition to our bedroom. The receiver was pretty straight forward and simple to install which only took about 20 minutes when all said and done if you’ve installed a ceiling fan before. All and all it was a good purchase.

This arrived very quickly and replacing the parts in the fan were very easy. The instructions helped alot and made the process very smooth. I will be purchasing this kit if another fan fails in the future.

This device came in great timing and it was package well All of them product appears to be in the box. I was under the impression that it was universal but its too big for my fan. the electrician looked at it and said it is of good quality and instructions are easy to follow. And for that reason Im going to give it a three star instead of four because its not universal to all fans.

For now I'm giving my rating on this product based on apparent quality, the price and the speed of delivery. Once I find a handyman that is available to install then I will be able to add to my review.

I havent installed this remote mechanism yet but it appears pretty straight forward. Its a nice option for after market remote capability for older fans that didnt come with a remote. You need to take the full fan down to install but its easy to wire in.
