Paint color easily wiped off with a wet paper towel.

Attempted to return this a few minutes ago to WAYFAIR because this lamp shade GETS DANGEROUSLY HOT!! Was told I would have to pay for return shipping if I wished to send back. Uh...Duh, That is not right. I have to pay for an item that would potentially burn my house down if it were accidently left on and we were away. Nope. Are they kidding me right now? I'm actually on hold waiting to speak to a supervisor. Will revise this review if I get a satisfactory response from WAYFAIR. They used to be so good at accepting returns...what the heck happened?

Hello. This lamp just had an electrical issue and really scares me! It sparked and I repositioned the lamp and it did it again! This time the light bulb blew! I unplugged it and won’t use it again!

The lamp I received is not what was advertised. Whole base ( on the top and on the side) supposed to be colored as aged distressed color. On my lamp there are only two spots on the top being distressed. It dos not look as nice as it would be if it was like advertised. It looks like it damaged, not aged. I tried to return it. Had to explain the problem and send the pictures many times. Was offered return if I pay for shipping. I did not expect Wayfair would give me such a hard time. I will try to avoid to order from them.
