These lights were fine as I was looking for something to enhance my patio, not to provide additional lighting. The way they hang wasn't what I was anticipating, however, it's nothing that an s-hook couldn't solve. I wasn't exactly super excited when I found out that they flicker, but I've gotten used to it.
