120 Volt WAC Lighting Transformers

This class 2, UL & cUL listed electronic transformer is the perfect solution for wiring multiple low voltage fixtures. Class 2 transformers are intrinsically safer transformers because they are compartmentalized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. Secondary wiring for class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. Maybe dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer.

I purchased this transformer to replace the same exact transformer that died. Even though this new one works, the first one only lasted just over two years. I would have thought that W.A.C would have replaced the dead transformer. However, W.A.C would not replace it because it was a few months past the warranty. For the amount of money I paid for my under cabinet lighting, I expected W.A.C to replace the transformer free of charge. Enclosure cover is easy to remove. The transformer has knockouts on three sides with clips for line voltage wiring. Secondary wiring for class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. Maybe dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer.
