Bought it place along the baseboard of the long hallway, so I can see the floor in the dark. I keep the remote in the LR, I bought the compatible wall mounted touch pad for the end of the hallway to turn it off. Better than turning on the overhead light, and I don't have to get up, turn on light, then go back to LR or kitchen to turn off lights in those rooms. Just use the remote to turn it on, turn off LR or kitchen lights, and at end of hall, hit the wall touchpad to turn it. Reverse to go back to LR or kitchen.. Carol. New Castle, DE. Tue Jul 08 2025
