Super happy!! Wanted to replace a 5 yr old, white, chunky, nothing special fan in our living room. We live in the south and worried about how much air we would be giving up… the style and value are better than I hoped and it gives off a solid air flow! My husband is picky about his fans and he likes it too. We have a smaller living room (12x16-ish) with 9ft ceilings and the size is good. Used the longer down rod bc it ended up being close to same distance from ceiling as old bulky fan… I think it gave it more of an impact. Handyman said it was pretty easy to install, once you get the remote component onto the mount housing. He had had it up in no time w/ 2 people. Zero issues since it was installed a month ago. Wayfair gave me partial refund credit for the fan because it was shipped with the wrong ceiling mounting bracket to hold the controller in place in the housing. You can get a replacement housing which does fit the controller. The "gold" is much more yellow than in the picture.
