The Touch control feature is useful in the dark, especially for the elderly or children, they’ll be able to turn it on in the dark by just barely touching it, not having to find a switch or knob to turn the light on or off in the middle of the night.

The lamps arrived in a timely manner. Once plugged in, they light to the touch. Exactly what we were looking for. They will be used in an apartment that is just being set up so they haven't been used in everyday living yet, but I don't see why they wouldn't. They were packed really well, too.
