Looks great! Easy to put up by myself. Wanted me to drill new holes in ceiling, but was able to utilize holes in current outlet box; there was previously a heavier regular hanging ceiling fan. Installed on a sloped ceiling, does not have a hang bar, so it sits at a slant which is fine as it is in the dining room and I do not turn the fan on often over the table. Of course, it went on sale yesterday. But, that was only a three or four dollar difference. It is mostly a light plastic, but at $92.00. Two AAA batteries not included for remote.. Ellen. US. The fan works well. I was surprised that the wall switch is powered by batteries rather than being wired in. While that may be a benefit for some people, it required a second hole to be made in my wall. On top of that, my workman didn't consider the placement of the switch as esthetically as I would have preferred when he cut the hole for it. While the placement problem was not the fault of the product per se, it reduced my liking of the fan.. Saval. San Antonio, TX. Tue Aug 11 2026
