Just received and opened box for inspection (not yet installed). The gold is a very brassy gold - not soft at all, but since this will be on a high ceiling, I do not think it will be an issue with the other gold fixtures in the bathroom. The packaging smells very strong of moth balls. Also, I had to refer back to the Wayfair listing to determine what type of bulbs are required since the instructions do not list that important detail. They are GU10 (pin bulbs) - max 40 watt. Will add photo once installed. Update: added photos - light has been installed above a shower for over a year and has held up very well - exposed to lots of moisture! Have it on a dimmer switch and is perfect for the area.. The directional & spotlight has a clean modern design. The chrome finish aides in the illuminance of the light. The white interior glass surrounded by the clear outer clear glass only add to the modern chic design. The lamp heads are directional in its function as a track light.
