With a modern and sleek style, this ceiling fan is ideal for a living room or bedroom. The remote control can choose from 6 fan speeds and 3 colour temperatures to achieve the perfect level of comfort and serenity. A reversible airflow (can be controlled by the remote) provides a powerful breeze, whether you want to cool down sweltering summer days on the porch or provide snug warmth in your room.
It's a very attractive fan but it makes me nervous. I installed myself a year ago after having bought it and leaving it sitting, thinking I'd hire someone to do it. I love how low profile it is, and the quality of light is great with white and warm light options. Overall installation was made easy with the ability to hang the fan while working on wiring. I was able to do it solo as someone who isn't the most comfortable with electricity. The remote is finicky but overall easy to live with, despite mild fears something inside is malfunctioning. It takes a few clicks to get my preferred type of light sometimes, as it seems to alternate each time you turn it on, but not consistently so I'm usually turning it on and off a couple times until it gives my desired light. This causes me mild concerns over the units safety and how it'll hold up, which is never a good feeling with electrical stuff. The wiring and control box was A LOT to stuff inside the mounting plate. The instructions do give some tips on how to orient things so that the remote will be able to find the control box, and it took a bit of fiddling to ensure nothing was pinched or kinked. I wasn't happy with how the jumbled mess looked, but the remote worked so I figured it was as good as I'd get it. I'm having an issue where clicking the light button on the remote results in two clicks. This is mostly experienced when trying to get to the desired light type, and perhaps my multiple clicks are delayed in being processed by the control module and therefore I'm the problem (it's me). However often when clicking to turn off the light, either nothing happens, or it turns off and back on with just one click, and it's not when I've clicked multiple times. The fan function is also mildly wonky but causes no inconvenience to my life aside from paranoia. When clicking the low fan button, it kicks on high, then clicks internally and low engages. If I click medium speed next, it seemingly shuts off for a moment before clicking internally to medium speed. This may just be due to an unsophisticated control module in line with the price point. All in all, I am happy with the light, and the convenience of remote control is nice, rather than dealing with pull chains. Hopefully it doesn't burn my house down one day, but I try to chalk that fear up to my own lack of wiring experience. Hire someone if you want some peace of mind. You'll have someone you can call if it's behaving like mine, and maybe they can reassure you there's no danger. Or, if it behaves as I've described after a professional install, then it's probably just the nature of the fixture as designed. Pics included are of warm and bright white, which are more pronounced in person than the photos.. Mike. Wallaceburg, ON. Mon Mar 17 2025
