We LOVE this light! We weren't thrilled with the dark base, so my husband painted it and we think it's perfect this way! (I know lots of fixtures are showing the dark base, and it's fine - just not for us.) Assembly is tedious, with crystals wrapped in pairs and tiny metal pieces that fit through a small hole in the crystal and then in a small hole in the fixture. Just take your time doing it; it's not difficult, just time-consuming. We've put it on a dimmer, so we have bright white light or a more yellow dimmed color - with a range in between.
