I ordered this fan to replace an older fan. I wanted something slicker and updated. My old fan had five blades that were 6 inch shorter than these. My boyfriend and I thought that it would only take about three hours to take down the old fan and put the new one up, but let’s say it took us about eight hourswith a run to the hardware store for a few parts. Looks beautiful and nicely made. Only problem i have with it is that the listing photos say it can be setup with closemount, but when you open the manual it says both closemount and flushmount are not available with this model.
