bought this second fan for our guest bedroom- installation was challenging as there was no text with only pictorial steps, but any homeowner with moderate skills can accomplish it in under 2 hours(as long as existing wires are done a certified electrician- ours were under a ceiling cover already for a light fixture etc)- but we do love and enjoy the fan/light combo and modern look! would recommend to a friend!!. My husband finished our master walk in closet and I was in charge of finding the lighting for it. I needed something that had a fan so that it can the inside the closet. I’m into modern design so this light fits the bill for me. The fan is a bit small but it’s enough to circulate air inside the room. The only downside to the design is that the light color will reset if you turn the light on via the wall switch. The only way around this is to leave the switch on and turn the light on using the included remote. The remote is the only way to turn on the fan function therefore it’s also important not to lose the remote. I think attaching the remote to the wall should solve the issue.. Vada. Canton, GA.
