Blades look cheap(its plasitc painted like wood), however good price and works very well....extremely quiet and good air flow. This ceiling fan immediately modernized my bedroom and puts out a LOT of air. My bedroom is large and 2 different ceiling fans we have had over several decades were never big enough to keep me cool at night since the fan was centered in the room and not directly over the bed.
