A few notes on this.. - this is not a flush mount as shown in the listing. It has about a 5” drop from ceiling, and the accompanying hardware cannot in any way make it a flush mount. - it was easy to assemble, but time consuming as you must hand all the bangles on the frame yourself. All the components were well packed, marked and contained no defects. You may wish to clamp the hooks down with forceps or pliers, but not entirely necessary. (Second picture). - use the cardboard packing to fashion a temporary support to make the installation of the bangles easier (first picture) - not as golden in tone as shown in the listing but that may be addressed with 3000k or 2500k LED bulbs. I was really excited to find this interesting light for our front hallway. We have both some cocktail tables and a clock in our living room that have similar mosaics and colors and we thought it would be a perfect match! When we opened the box, we thought Wayfair had sent us the wrong light as the colors did not look like the picture of what we had ordered. I was very disappointed, but then took the glass dome out of the box and held it up to a light - when the light shone through, the mosaics looked completely different and more of the colors we were hoping for. My partner installed the light and we are happy with it. It is important to note that it still looks completely different when the light is off than when the light is turned on. I have included pictures that show it lit up at night, lit up during the day, and off during the day so consumers can make their own decision. This still works for our decor both ways, so we are happy as I said. The directions for installation are not that explicit or clear and my partner had a hard time. He is a mental health professional, but did install a dining room chandelier and found this more challenging. Be prepared to go slowly with possible re-dos, or hire an electrician.. Kim.
