I bought three of these lights to replace older halogen based pendant lights for my kitchen. I opted for the clear glass shade and the antique brass finish. My stepson was able to install the lights in about 2 hours, using the electrical work from the older lights. The photo shows them over the granite "bar" in the kitchen. We purchased 3 of these for our kitchen. They are gorgeous and easy to hang. The cord is very long and easily cut to a shorter length of necessary. We did have to replace one of the shades because it was a slightly smaller size than the other 2....I guess they are hand blown to some variations can apply....but it was hassle free and the one they sent us as a replacement matches the 2 we had perfectly..
