Came preassembled. Looks nice but not put together well. One hinge isn’t affixed properly and ottoman top doesn’t sit square on the base. Waiting to hear from customer service.

Handsome looking and so well made. This storage ottoman holds 4 plush blankets and is the perfect height to rest my feet on! Great purchase. Well worth the price!!!

I guess the only thing I can tell you that isn't clear in the picture and description is that the opening mechanism works very well: the arm supports it very well. It seems to be sturdy. I love it because it matches my recliner perfectly. I keep it next to the recliner to store my throw blankets.
