Tuskegee Panel Bed

In addition to the item arriving damaged with scuffs, cracks and chips, it also doesn't match the quality shown online. For starters, nowhere on the site does it say that the headboard even contains any plastic, much less that the main design component of the headboard is a sheet of plastic. The pictures also do not show that there are big black screws visible on the sides and top of the headboard. The picture of the back of the headboard makes it look like the back is finishes as well but in reality it has visible large staples all along the back and rough edges. There are also general quality issues at the joints of the pieces that already came assembled.

This bed is so nice ! Looks great and was easily put together. Im very happy with this purchase. The shipping was quick and it came well packaged. The details on the headboard are beautiful and make it versatile for several styles of decor.

This Tuskegee Panel Bed is a really nice looking bed. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were great. There are a few things I had an issue with regarding this bed. First being that it requires a box spring, which I did not see in the posting as it was included in a drop down which I did not see. I feel that most beds from Wayfair do not require a box spring so this was an unwanted surprise. Also, the kit only included 4 thin slat boards. This was not nearly enough support for a box spring and mattress. So, we had to go and buy more wood and cut it down to fit. Very frustrating. I am giving it a 4 star because everything else about the bed is perfect.

Delivery was super fast! It seems very sturdy. I love the white. This bed will be used as a guest bed. Only downfall I can find is there are a lot of bolts! Appears made with very high quality. Cant wait to get a mattress.

The bed is beautiful. I assembled it myself. It may have been about 3-4 hours over a course of 2 days. The assembly wasn’t difficult. However, they put all of the tools in one little pouch and you have to separate them yourself. I have a picture linked to show. Just a tip, do not tighten all of the screws all the way. When trying to put the poles on the headboard, it didn’t fit and I had to loosen the screws to make the poles fit. The hardest part was when I was assembling the base. I put the bottom part flat down and placed the side pieces in. I have to admit, there is an odor emitting from the furniture. It doesn’t stink, just an odor. And I says that it may be made with Formaldehyde. The odor is strong and I feel like it was giving me a headache. I think I am going to try much harder to opt in to items that are wood moving forward.
