Solid + Manufactured Wood Accent Stool

I read the reviews before I ordered. There was one review that the stool buckled even though the person was way less than 200 pounds, which is the weight limit of this stool. I thought it was a fluke so ordered it anyway. It was sat on about 10 times and it flattened like a pancake when my son sat on it and he is way under 200 pounds.

Needed a small bench in our bedroom so we can sit and put socksshoes on and this stool fits the bill perfectly. It’s a tad lower than I would like but still all in all works well for us.

I purchased this stool in Feb. 2024. Within 6 months it became a very little wobbly and within a year it was so unstabe that it collapsed after normal use. The base just pulled apart. No one even near the recommended maximum weight used this stool. The "wood look" legs of this stool were paperlike particle board. I orginally purchased it because its design and colors were what I needed for the area I was planning to put it in. I would highly recommend not purchasing this product as it could be a hazard when some one is seated on it. Unfortunately I did not take any photos of the stool after it collapsed as I trashed it asap.
