Arrived nicely packaged and assembly was easy. We’re using it at the foot of the bed in one of our guest bedrooms so it likely won’t get a lot of regular use, but it’s definitely sturdy enough to sit on, it would certainly work nicely as a hallway bench or dining bench. Of note: for those looking for a true soft gray upholstery, this isn’t a solid gray fabric on top of the bench. It’s more of a speckled or mottled medium gray with tones of black and charcoal. (You can tell from comparing it to the solid gray headboard in our photos.)
