These fit the drink rail on our deck well so we could add lights that lead to the patio.

Extremely flimsy. Will not support anything you value.

so far its doing its job just worried if it can survive the heavy wind.

Exactly what I was looking for! These poles are perfect for hanging string lights on a deck or balcony. They are very sturdy and have held up to the wind and rain with no issues. Easy to install.
