Emerson Aluminum Post Mounted Mailbox with Personalized Number Plate

I'm going to go ahead and review even though we are not to the point in our new home build where we are ready to install the mailbox. We did unpack to make sure we have all the parts. We might be missing a "plate" to attach the actual box to the post. One set of instructions said we should have it and the other instruction didn't show it...weird. The holes, however, do match up with the box and post so I'm hoping with this style maybe the missing plate is nothing we need. Each piece seems very sturdy, and it is such an elegant look to it. I can't wait to install. It was pretty pricey, and that was what took me so long to finally purchase. UPDATE: after 3 years, I still love it, BUT a truck clipped it less than a year installed and broke the decorative scroll part off. Unfortunately it’s not made of material that can be welded back on so we had someone make a similar scroll with iron. AND after a couple years the paint completely bubbled and peeled off! See pics for reference. The numbers didn’t last through the first year— All but 1 fell off during the winter and then that summer became discolored. They are currently stuck on with gorilla tape.

This mailbox is gorgeous! We ordered it with the brass numbers and it looks beautiful. It’s very heavy and well made. Such a nice detail that adds curb appeal to our front yard. We did have it professionally installed and the person we used said it was easy to do with no issues.

Very disappointed! Returned, The Contractor you hired to installed this item was not sure as how to install the mailbox & stand. He also came to my home with a very unprofessional appearance. I believe I reported this to your customer service representative.
