The base is not weighted so we added pavers like someone else suggested. The arm of the umbrella is plastic so I am not sure how well this will hold up in the weather. The umbrella is very large and covers a good portion of my deck. I use a bungee cord to hold down the umbrella when the winds pick up. It can be very breezy here. So far I am liking the style and design but feel that the arm should really have been a metal of some sort.

Absolutely love this umbrella. Very big and sturdy. Like the amount of shade it provides.

Umbrella is fine, though has faded a lot in first year. Must have a very significant umbrella stand with additional weights to keep this from toppling.
