no paint issues. metal is very thin. came with necessary hardware to attach to mailbox but left square nuts exposed to catch packages and mail !

Good and sturdy - well made - I am very happy with them.

Did as sold- fit my mail box and holds it in the ground! Where we had to put the box is hard ground so my husband ended up cutting a portion of the pole off so we didn’t have to dig so far. Works great!

We are in Wisconsin so we get it all! Unfortunately I'm not able to have a mailbox post but we are planning to use it as a base for a bird bath!!
