Very comfortable! One of my newest favorite additions to my deck. However it does not sit nearly as upright as the pictures suggest and it’s pretty easy to tip over. It sits more like a bowl, so if you don’t care about that it’s great! This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. Fortunately the knocking only occurs if I glide far enough forward, which is actually beyond my typical glide length. But I have to take a star away because of this.. Bart. Boulder, CO. This chair was not hard to put together but it wasn’t easy either. It took two of us because the way it was constructed, one person had to hold the pieces while the other put the screws in or else the pieces wouldn’t line up right for the screws to go in all the way. Once we got them together, I really liked how they looked and fit in our space. They are comfortable however, you can definitely feel the braces underneath. I plan on getting a memory foam pad to cut to size and put under the cushion in hopes I can’t feel them as much. The image also makes it seem like you sit up more than you actually do. When leaning back against the cushion, you are semi-lying down. We needed to put a firm pillow behind our back to be in a more upright, sitting position.
